About Me

Growing up in Vancouver, British Columbia, I was lucky enough to be surrounded by stunning views and an abundance of wildlife.  When I decided to take up photography, it was easy to find inspiration all around me which started with street photography, cityscapes, portraits, and eventually focussing more on animals and nature. 

My goal in capturing wildlife images is to create a window of intimacy between the viewer and the subject and to evoke a feeling of connection. It is very important to me to achieve this result without the use of lures or bait.

I feel very fortunate to have had some award winning photographs and to be featured by publications such as National Geographic, Canadian Geographic, British Columbia Magazine and more.
