Photography Workshops

  • Beach Bunny

I am now hosting photography workshops in Vancouver!

These three hour workshops focus on urban wildlife portraiture and are perfect for beginner or intermediate photographers that are interested in learning more about wildlife photography.  You will have the opportunity to join me at one of my favourite local wildlife spots while learning techniques to help improve your images.

The workshops will have a maximum of five people so there will be plenty of time for individual questions and any help you may need.

What to bring with you to the workshop:

A camera!  This one is pretty obvious.

A telephoto lens is highly recommended for this workshop.  Certain subjects like birds will often require a telephoto lens but there will be opportunities for photos with shorter lenses as well.  In fact, I also recommend you bring a wide angle lens with you if you have one.  I usually carry one telephoto zoom and one wide angle zoom lens.

Bring a tripod or monopod if you have a heavier lens that is difficult to handhold but it is not necessary if you don’t feel like carrying it around.

Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and I recommend you have the ability to add or remove a layer.

A bottle of water will be provided.

Saturday and Sunday evening workshops are from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.

Cost is $149 per person.  Limited spots available.
